What Is Windows Operating System

Windows is a graphical operating system. An operating system is the most important software that runs on a computer. Microsoft windows is one of the most popular Graphical User Interface (GUI). Windows operating system uses both keyword and mouse as input device. Mouse is used to interact with windows by clicking its icons. Keyboard is used to enter alphabets, Numerals and special characters.

There are two most common editions of windows.

2. Windows professional

Windows home

Windows home is basic edition of windows. It provides all the fundamental functions of windows such as connecting to internet, web browsing, watch videos, using office software, playing games, It is released both professional and Home computing works.

Windows professional

It is an enhanced version of windows, Which is beneficial for power user and Small to medium size business. Windows professional is also known as windows pro on win pro. It includes all the features of windows home, and as follows.

Remote Desktop. Allows you to remotely control another windows computer connected to the internet.

Bitlocker. Microsoft’s integrated file encryption.

Trusted Boot. It provides encryption of the boot loaders, protecting the computer against root kits.

Hyper-v. A Windows hypervisor for running virtual machines,equivalent to third-party software,such as virtual Box.

Windows Sandbox. It is located on a computer, network, or an online service enables users to experiment or text computer security without interrupting the system.

Group Policy Management. Group policies in an organization to manage different Windows users.

It supports more then 128 GB RAM. It offers more windows update installation options such as more flexible scheduling and postponement around 35 days.
